Landscapes integrate a built structure into its surrounding ecology, enhancing a site's sustainability, water efficiency and outdoor air quality. 31 LEED possible points are available by using EcoUrban's sustainable landscape design principles —that's up to 77% of the 40 minimum points needed for basic LEED Certification.

Also on the horizon is EcoUrban's participation with The Sustainable Sites Initiative program. This initiative is an interdisciplinary effort by the American Society of Landscape Architects, the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center and the United States Botanic Garden to create voluntary national guidelines and performance benchmarks for sustainable land design, construction and maintenance practices.
